    God has great things planned for this city! Join Renew and Park Community Church for a day of giving back and reflecting the heart of Christ in the city of Chicago.

    We seek to be engaged in our communities and serve the needs of our local schools, ministry partners, parks, and others!

    Where

    Note: Please pack a lunch if your site is scheduled to go past 12pm, as it will not be provided. Thank you!

    • Beulah - 10am-12pm || 15-20 people - Help assemble gift bags at the Near North building, and write biblical words of affirmation, for women who work at Chicago's strip clubs for Beulah's monthly outreaches (visit: beulahstripchurch.com for more information)

    • Bread of Life - 2-3pm || 15-20 people - Join Park's Bread of Life ministry in the afternoon as they serve the homeless in the Loop at the Thompson center with providing a meal and donated clothing items. Great option if morning doesn't work well for you!

    • By the Hand (Englewood site)​​ - 9am-12pm || 20-30 people - Come alongside one of our ministry partners and help them clean classrooms they use for tutoring and some general building organization.

    • Chicago Lights Urban Farm 11:30am-2pm || 15 people - Urban agriculture provides sustainable produce for under-serviced areas of the city. Join Chicago Lights as they continue to cultivate their urban farm with planting, weeding, etc. Kid friendly for 10 years+.

    • Forest Glen Woods - Forest Preserve - 10am-1pm || 25 people - Let's care for our parks together! At this site you'll be a part of a team tackling a variety of outdoor tasks, such as seed gathering, invasive plant removal, and trash pick up to keep the forest preserve thriving.

    • Gale Elementary - 8am-12pm || 20 people - Let's beautify one of our Rogers Park schools with some painting, cleaning, and organizing to give it a fresh look over the summer. And, BONUS, coffee and donuts will be provided in the morning before the event starts!

    • GRIP (Wells High School) - 9am-1pm || 30-40 people - Serve GRIP at one of their school partnerships with painting and grounds clean up.

    • Inner City Impact - 10am-2pm || 10-15 people - Who likes camping? Now, you won't actually be camping, but you can be part of ensuring that a group of students have a fabulous time by helping ICI prepare for an upcoming camping trip by cleaning camp gear and general prep.

    • Lincoln Park High School - 9am-2pm || 20 people - LPHS will be entering a phase of renovation. Our team will help with painting some key areas and packing up various classrooms and offices as they prepare for renovations.

    • Monroe Elementary - 9am-2pm || 30 people - Serve the school that the Logan Square campus meets at with painting and general organizing and cleaning. 

    • Near North Building - 9am-12pm || 15 people - Come lend a hand at our Near North campus  building and get ready to get those hands dirty! We've got landscaping, gardening, and garage painting galore. Can't wait to see you there!

    • Pray Chicago (Prayer Walk) - 10am-12pm || 25 people - Prayer is a powerful tool and is one of the ways we enter into God's heart for our city. Join some of Pray Chicago's leaders as they do a prayer walk through the Cabrini-Green neighborhood. The team will meet at the Near North building.

    • Sullivan High School - 9am-2pm || 40 people - Serve this high school in Rogers Park with painting, organizing, and general spiffy-fying of the place! Lots of energy and camaraderie to experience at this one!

    • Taft High School - 9am-1pm || 30 people - Get those hands ready to plant beautiful hostas and small trees around the high school grounds.

    Sites:

    • Purple - sites with less physical demands
